Local Benefit Concert
A local Non-Profit organization and fellow “Kansas City Made Member” is promoting quite a large concert next weekend, and the proceeds from the door and auction items will go to a great cause. Here are some links to the upcoming show @ Crosstown Station on Saturday, November 7th. The show is called “Apocalypse Meow”, and is a benefit concert for a “Musicians Healthcare Fund by Midwest Music Foundation”.
Quite a few local businesses have donated services and items for the auction (see the auction items here ) in order to raise some $$ for the Musicians Healthcare Fund.

Take a First Time Ice Skating Lesson where skaters of all ages will get a feel for the ice while learning up to eight basic skating moves: 1. How to fall SAFELY 2. Get up 3. Go forward 4. Go backward 5. Stop 6. Jump 7. Spin 8. Glide on one foot!
A First Time Ice Skating Lesson includes: Skaters will receive 25 minutes of on-ice instruction from a Professional Skaters Association instructor, a 5 minute question and answer session and a take-home information package for each student.

Each pair of custom shoes takes anywhere from 10 hours up to a few weeks to complete.
